For insurance reasons, the Pilot In Command must be a club member. This means that a club member can have anyone instruct him or her as long as the member remains PIC. This allows the member to have a non-member instructor for FAA Flight Reviews, Check Rides, Instrument proficiency checks in VFR, and Commercial Pilot Instruction.

Non-member instructors cannot be used when the member is a student pilot, when filing IFR flight plans and the member is not rated or not IFR current, for complex aircraft checkouts and transition training, and for the club annual if the member's club annual is not current.

A club instructor must always be used for the ground portion of the club annual.

The following is a list of instructors who are Consair members and have asked to be listed here. Consair does not endorse any particular instructor or flight school. If you have another instructor you would like to use for instruction in Consair planes, then get your instructor to join as well.

Please click on the name of each instructor to get more detailed information about them.
